When I was younger, Neil Gaiman was a big source of inspiration and entertainment. I fondly remember reading all of the "Sandman" comic book series, and "Good Omens". I loved the movie, "Coraline". But not until the other day had I read this quote by Gaiman about fairytales.
"Fairytales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten."
It blew me away because he said what I had thought about fairytales (I thought I was alone in knowing this) and he said what I tell you through my art. Read how Gaiman and I believe the same thing about fairytales on my new "About Page". How do fairytales make you feel? How have they inspired you?
